The waters have receded by three feet at Tadcaster Albion but it's still not enough to ensure their weekend match will go ahead. The club say they are "99% certain" that their KoolSport NCEL Division One clash with Leeds Carnegie will be off as the pitch at Ings Lane is still flooded.
Recent rainfall has meant that the River Wharfe has burst its banks and spilled over into the ground that's situated next to it.
At its height, the waters were over a metre deep.
The club, who are used to the problem, quickly got the carpets up in the clubhouse to make sure damage was minimal and it's been confirmed that the only internal area flooded was the away dressing room.
