The KoolSport Northern Counties East League season came to an end with disappointment for Hall Road Rangers in the East Riding Senior Cup Final.

They performed well at Hull City's KC Stadium against North Ferriby United but were beaten 3-1.

In both halves, they began the stronger but could not make their dominance count.

And, their job was made more difficult when Steve Heath was red carded towards the end of the first period.

Martin Thacker gave them a consolation goal late on in the game but Rangers became the fourth NCEL side to be beaten in a County Cup Final this season.
