Lincoln Moorlands Railway?s dreams of hosting a side that was in the Football League last season were sadly dashed in midweek as they were beaten 4-1 at Mossley in their FA Cup Third Qualifying Round Replay.
The tie on Tuesday had been given extra spice when the draw for the next round took place the previous day and gave the winner a lucrative home clash against Darlington.

Luke Forbes had given Railway hope with an equaliser on fifty minutes but the Evo-Stik outfit then struck three more times to progress.
Barton Town Old Boys moved through to the Second Round of the FA Vase as they won their delayed replay at home to KoolSport NCEL rivals, Louth Town.
In fact, it took until the 117th minute for the deadlock to be broken, and Michael Bettney's strike means Barton go to Bustlehome of the West Midlands Regional League in November.
The tie had been abandoned last week at half time due to floodlight problems.
