AFC Emley now top KoolSport NCEL Division One after the first round of matches was completed in midweek.
They claimed a 6-3 victory in a thrilling match at home to Grimsby Borough on Wednesday night.

It was 4-2 by the interval as a Josh Nodder brace extended the home side's lead before Daniel Taylor bagged the visitors' second.
Emley's Steven Kenworthy and Simeon Fletcher then put the game beyond doubt before the hour mark and John Toyne claimed a late consolation for Borough.
In the other game to have been played, Leeds Carnegie won 2-0 at home to Glasshoughton Welfare on Monday night.
Matt Chilton and Chibuzor Chilaka grabbed the goals towards the beginning and end of the game.
