Toolstation Charity Cup is this weekend
24th July, 2018
All of the money raised from this weekend's Toolstation Charity Cup will go to help the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, it has been announced.
More details have been unveiled about Saturday's match, the fifth year that the pre-season fixture has taken place between representatives of the Northern Counties East Football League and the Western League who are both sponsored by Toolstation.
This year's game sees Penistone Church welcome Buckland Athletic to South Yorkshire with the match kicking off at their DSM Memorial Ground at 2.30pm.
The NCEL has won the trophy for the last three years with AFC Mansfield, Handsworth Parramore and Cleethorpes Town victorious after the Western League's Bristol Manor Farm were the inaugural winners in 2014.
Admission to the match will be ?3 including programme and, if the scores are level after ninety minutes, a penalty shoot-out will take place to determine the winner.
Both clubs will be able to use all five of their nominated substitutes during the game, instead of the usual three out of five.
The match officials will be referee Gareth Thomas and assistants Piotr Zak and Joe Golland.
