Wilkin and Edwards are NCEL Hotshots

Winterton Rangers' Liam Wilkin and Eccleshill United's Marcus Edwards have finished the 2010/11 season as the KoolSport NCEL's top league goalscorers.

Wilkin, pictured below, topped the Premier Division league table scoring 26 of Winterton's 73 goals, one ahead of Bridlington Town's Craig Hogg and Farsley AFC's Ben Jones.


Edwards struck 32 times in Division One for Eccleshill, beating Barton Town Old Boys' Gareth Barlow by two goals whilst Yorkshire Amateur's Curtis Bernard was third with 25.

The top scorer in all competitions was Staveley Miners Welfare's Ryan Damms who struck 24 times in the league for the Division One champions and fourteen in Cup competitions to have a total of 38.

Barlow was second with 36 whilst Wilkin and Edwards came in third on 35.
