Athersley Pull Out Of NCEL Bid

Athersley Recreation FC have confirmed the withdrawal of their application to enter the KoolSport Northern Counties East League for next season.

Club Secretary Peter Goodlad stated that they could not guarantee to achieve the required ground grading standards within the required time.

This withdrawal means that only Handsworth FC and Louth Town are currently listed as potential new clubs for season 2010/11.
