LEAGUE CUP
It is hoped to play the next round of the League Cup midweek during week commencing Monday 22nd February, 2010.

COMMENTS
Clearly given the current weather conditions and the long range forecast, there will be further disruption ahead but we remain confident that the season can come to its completion in a reasonably orderly fashion.

The League policy of progressing fixtures on a monthly basis is clearly now standing clubs in good stead and the thought of leaving fixtures previously postponed unplayed does not bear thinking about.

Equally, the League are mindful of the avoidance of long distance midweek travel for clubs as is reflected in the rearranged dates for three matches on Saturday 1st May and the fourth on Easter Monday.

We will continue to attempt to limit wherever possible but, of course, if the inclement weather continues for a lengthy period some will be simply unavoidable.

Please note that the last date for league fixtures will be Saturday 1st May and it is anticipated the League Cup final will be on Bank Holiday Monday, 3rd May, with an afternoon kick off.
