South Normanton Athletic are to welcome back an old favourite as they attempt to lift themselves out of the Premier Division relegation zone.

Striker Valadmir Santos Farrell is set to be included in the Shiners squad for their home game with Thackley on Saturday.

It is a return to Lees Lane for him after he moved to Unibond League side Carlton Town at the start of the season.

The management team of Glynn Stacey and Mark Harvey are also hoping that another former Shiners player will rejoin the club and be with them until the end of the season.
