Physio Required At Glapwell
14th June, 2007
Glapwell FC are offering the position of Club Physio for the forthcoming season with a chance it could turn in to something more permanent.
The club's Operations Director, Kev Gee, says: "As well as having our own ambitious to be a successful non-league football club, Glapwell FC would not look to stop any member of the management team or squad trying to better themselves if the opportunity arose to apply their trade higher up in the National League system.
"Unfortunately for us, this also applies to the role as club physio.
"Paul Smith, who was having his second spell with the club, contacted me to explain that he had been approached by his former manger Nicky Laws to rejoin him at Alfreton in a full time position.
"It is therefore with regret that we accepted Paul's resignation but, at the same time with the full backing of the club, we wish Paul all the best in his new role which, I'm sure with his commitment and drive, he will be very successful.
"However, this has obviously left a position available with our club which we hope we can appoint someone with the same experiences.
"With the new changing room extension now complete incorporating a new state-of-the-art physio room, we hope that we can be successful in appointing a new physio within the next couple of weeks before pre-season commences."
Should anyone be interested in applying for the job, please contact Kev on 07983 991424 for details of the dates that interviews will be taking place.
