Emley Groundsman Up For Award

AFC Emley's Ray Chapple has been nominated for the Football Association's Groundsman of the Year Award for step 6 clubs.

The FA will be at Emley's Welfare Ground next week to interview Ray, who was formerly the groundsman at Glasshoughton Welfare's Leeds Road ground and Huddersfield Town's Galpharm Stadium.

They will also take a look at the fruits of his labour during their visit.
