The main sponsors of Staveley Miners Welfare have donated twenty used mobile phones to the club that will be sold off to help a local charity.The Inkersall Road outfit are asking organisations to contact them by email and they will decide which one will be the most suitable to be given the phones.
A club spokesman said: "This is a generous offer by Baris who, yet again, are looking to assist local charities wherever possible by raising finance for them.
"It is hoped that the sale of the phones will raise over ?500 for the chosen charity."
