Scarborough Athletic FC is joining the millions of people around the country raising money for Sport Relief.Battling midfielders Gary Hepples and Dave Thompson will be leading the Boro contingent in the Scarborough Seafront Mile on Sunday 16th March.
They will be joined by club chair Simon Cope, along with fellow directors Andy Troughton, Ben Courtney, Chris Rooke, James Hunter and Wendy Danby in a bid to raise ?1000 for the charity.
The club is also inviting fans to take part in the Seafront Mile as well, and help raise money themselves.
Cope said: "This is a great opportunity for the club to raise a big sum of money for charity.
"We would like to see as many fans as possible running alongside us."

Fans wishing to donate to the cause can do so at the club's home game against Gedling Town on Saturday 15th March, or via the team's Sport Relief website listed above.
