Staveley Hit By Injury Blow
8th November, 2007
Staveley Miners Welfare have lost their captain for up to six weeks through injury.
Danny Robinson limped off during Saturday's 2-1 Division One win at home to Dinnington Town.
The results of a hospital scan earlier this week have shown that the centre-half has ligament damage which will mean he will be out of action for over a month.
The Staveley management have described the situation on the club's website as a "bitter blow to lose your centre half and captain through an innocuous fair challenge by both players."
The Inkersall Road outfit must now re-jig their line-up ahead of Saturday's home League clash with AFC Emley.
