Rob Northen's 65th-minute strike extended Winterton Rangers' lead at the top of the Premier Division to sixteen points.

Their 1-0 win at home to South Normanton came at the same time that Glapwell were beaten by the same scoreline at Nostell Miners Welfare.

A Paul Bedford goal early in the second period gave Welfare the three points to move them up into seventh.

But, Glapwell stayed in second ahead on goal difference of Liversedge who drew 3-3 with visitors Eccleshill United.

An injury-time strike from Brook Newton gave Sedge the point after Ryan Wood had seemingly got the winner for the away side in the 85th minute.

Fourth-placed Pickering Town could not take advantage of the slip-ups by the two sides above them as they went down 3-0 at Hallam thanks to a James Tevendale brace and a Will Tomlinson strike ten minutes from time.

Hallam moved up to sixth, two points behind Selby Town who drew 1-1 at Thackley, Tom Matthews grabbing them a point after an opener for the hosts by James Firth.

At the other end of the table, things look bleak for Glasshoughton Welfare who are now nine points adrift with only six games left to play.

They lost 2-0 at Brodsworth Welfare who continued their surge away from the relegation battle with goals from David Jones and Josh Wright.

Goal difference is all that separated the next three bottom sides after the day's play.

Lincoln Moorlands Railway remained in nineteenth despite a 2-0 win at Shirebrook Town behind South Normanton and Maltby Main who drew 3-3 at home to Mickleover Sports.

Main were denied a victory by a last-gasp equaliser from Mark Blount for the visitors.

The biggest win in the Premier Division came at Grange Park where Long Eaton United won 5-0 at home to Parkgate.

Mark Strzyzewski and Alex Steadman had them two-up by half-time before Steadman with his second, Scott Downie and Channon North completed the comfortable victory.

With the leaders, Dinnington Town, not in action, the battle for second place continued to hot up in Division One.

The side in second, Rainworth Miners Welfare, moved four points clear of seventh place with a 0-0 draw at Gedling Town.

That result saw the hosts fall to fifth as they were leapfrogged by Hall Road Rangers and Staveley Miners Welfare who both picked up victories.

Hall Road moved to third with a 5-0 win at Rossington Main with Paul Farley and Jamie Barnwell giving them a two goal advantage up until the last ten minutes.

Then, an Adam Walker strike and two penalties from Martin Thacker made the scoreline more one-sided than perhaps expected.

Staveley were the only home winners in Division One as Lee Gregory's 37th-minute goal claimed a single goal victory over Bottesford Town who fell to seventh.

Scarborough Athletic climbed to eighth after a five-goal blitz without reply in the last twenty minutes of the game at Yorkshire Amateur.

It was stalemate until Gary Hepples struck, then a Mark Griffin brace and one each from Scott Phillips and Dave Thompson put the game beyond doubt.

Late goals were also the order of the day at Ings Lane where Tadcaster Albion and Borrowash Victoria were drawing 2-2 with twelve minutes remaining.

Then, John Guy put Vics ahead before two goals from Rob Spencer completed his hat-trick and Jamie Pawley grabbed the sixth for the visitors to take the points in dramatic fashion.

Pontefract Collieries remained seven points adrift at the bottom of the table as they were beaten 3-1 at home to Barton Town Old Boys.

And, Worsbrough Bridge Athletic were 3-0 winners at Teversal with goals from Ryan Pleasants, Dave Beevers and Kieran Gallagher.
