Midweek Match Review
6th December, 2007
Winterton Rangers remain top of the NCEL Premier Division after they picked up a point at their closest rivals, Glapwell.
They will view it as an opportunity missed as their hosts had to play all but seven minutes with ten men after keeper Neil West was sent off for a second bookable offence.
But, the Hall Corner outfit showed great resilience and took the lead through Justin Burdett on 26 minutes.
Rangers then levelled in first-half injury time through Danny Clarke.
Meanwhile, Teversal and Hall Road Rangers will contest the Wilkinson Sword Trophy Final as both got through with 2-1 victories in the semis.
Teversal needed extra-time to dispatch hosts Bottesford Town after they were pegged back with an equaliser deep into second-half stoppage time.
And, Hall Road progressed after beating Gedling Town at Dene Park.
Pickering Town's participation in the North Riding Senior Cup came to an end as they lost 3-0 at Blue Square Premier side York City.
And, Tadcaster Albion's West Riding County Cup tie at Harrogate Railway has been rescheduled for next Wednesday after the Station View pitch was deemed unplayable.
