Winterton Rangers became the new leaders of the NCEL Premier Division after hammering Shirebrook Town 5-0 at West Street.
Peter Daniel's side were four goals up by the interval after a flying start with strikes from Mark Whitehouse, two from Rob Northen and the fourth from Andy Catton.
The goal-fest slowed down after the break with Whitehouse adding his second and his team's fifth with seventeen minutes remaining to claim Rangers' fourth successive victory.
They replace Glapwell at the top who failed to score for the first time this season in the league as they were held to a goalless draw at home to Pickering Town.
Both sides maintained the division's best two unbeaten runs of thirteen and twelve matches, respectively.
The Hall Corner side dropped to second whilst the Pikes fell to fourth after they were overtaken by Liversedge who were 4-0 home winners over Nostell Miners Welfare.
Damien Melvin opened the scoring on the half-hour mark before Nicky Boshell doubled the advantage on 57 minutes, Daniel Cooper claimed the third and Melvin claimed his brace with a quarter-of-an-hour remaining.
Nostell Miners Welfare dropped to seventh and have now not won in their last ten games.
That is the second worst run in the league behind South Normanton Athletic whose goalless draw at home to Long Eaton United made it eleven matches without a victory for the Lees Lane side and kept them in the bottom three.
Brodsworth Welfare remain the basement side after a 3-1 defeat at Lincoln Moorlands Railway.
Stuart King and Matt Roche had Railway two goals ahead by halfway through the first period before a Nick Robinson penalty stretched their lead going into the break.
Ryan Malee grabbed a late consolation as the home side picked up all three points to move into sixteenth.
And, Glasshoughton Welfare stay next-to-bottom after being comprehensively beaten 3-0 at home to Maltby Main, thanks to an Ashley Longstaff hat-trick.
Meanwhile, at the top end of the table, Armthorpe Welfare tried their best to close the gap on the top four with a 2-1 home win over Selby Town.
They moved up into fifth thanks to goals from Kirk Wheeler and Liam Radford, in between was a strike for the Robins by Brenton Leister.
And, Eccleshill United climbed to sixth after Andy Howland's 55th minute goal claimed a 1-0 victory over visitors Thackley.
The best away performance came from Hallam who had Will Tomlinson, James Tevendale, Ben Cressey and Richard Carrington find the back of the net in a 4-1 win at Parkgate.
That was after Matt Outram had given the hosts a fourteenth minute lead.
And, two late goals shared the spoils at Gedling Road where Arnold Town were held to a 1-1 draw by Mickleover Sports.
A Mark Blount penalty put Sports ahead on 79 minutes before Mark Clifford claimed the equaliser three minutes later.
Gedling Town's lead at the top of Division One stretched to two points after they came from behind twice to pick up a 2-2 draw at Bottesford Town.
Tim Wilks cancelled out a 44th minute opener from Phil Jackman before, with nineteen minutes remaining, Carl Westcarr secured the point for the visitors after Craig Mitchell had put Bottesford back into the lead.
Second-placed Teversal were beaten 2-1 at Hall Road Rangers who climbed to sixth.
Richard Walker had put the away side ahead in the first five minutes before James McGarry struck twice in two minutes halfway through the opening period to claim the victory.
Barton Town Old Boys and Scarborough Athletic both got within touching distance of the top two with important away wins.
Barton picked up a single-goal victory at AFC Emley whilst a Ryan Blott brace and an Anthony Bowsley goal got the Seadogs a 3-0 win at Staveley Miners Welfare in front of a crowd of 292 at Inkersall Road.
Dinnington Town moved up to fifth and became the only Division One side to have claimed back-to-back victories as Michael Blythen and Ant Lynam secured a 2-0 win at home to Pontefract Collieries.
The Colls remained next-to-bottom whilst, below them, Rossington Main scored twice on their travels but it still was not enough for them to pick up their first win of the season as they went down 3-2 at Yorkshire Amateur.
Lee Holmes had put them ahead on 36 minutes before Paul Graham levelled matters from the penalty spot in first-half injury time.
Two second-half goals from Simon Kirsima put the Ammas 3-1 up before Mick Jones made it an intriguing last twelve minutes as he grabbed Main's second.
Borrowash Victoria picked up a vital three points in a 2-0 win at home to Worsbrough Bridge Athletic with a seventh-minute strike from Phil Summerfield and late first-half own goal from Ryan Poskitt grabbing them the points.
