Glapwell remain top of the Premier Division as they made it three wins out of three with a 3-2 victory at promoted Parkgate.

The Hall Corner side were two-up before the quarter-hour mark thanks to goals from Aaron Brady and Ian Brown before Caine Cheetham halved the deficit in the 24th minute.

Brown added his second and Glapwell's third after the interval before Scott Bates made it a close finale.

Winterton Rangers' return to the top flight continues to be a success after a 3-1 win over visitors Mickleover Sports moved them up into second spot.

They had to come from behind as Chris Archer opened the scoring for Sports on the half-hour but, in the opening seconds of the second period, David Ricardo brought the scores level and two penalties, one each for Rob Northen and Danny Clarke, claimed the points for Rangers.

Selby Town are third after a 3-0 win at Lincoln Moorlands Railway whilst another promoted side, South Normanton Athletic, are fourth.

Valadmir Santos Farrell struck with the only goal of the game with fifteen minutes remaining at local rivals Shirebrook Town who drop to ninth.

A seven-goal thriller at Plumpton Park was edged by the home side to move Eccleshill United up to fifth in a game against Armthorpe Welfare that swung one way and then the other throughout.

Chris Rosindale broke the deadlock for Eccleshill from the penalty spot on 23 minutes before Craig Morley equalised four minutes later.

Ian Green restored United's lead before they were pegged back once again by Liam Muirhead.

Welfare took the lead through Nathan Iley but Eccleshill's Stuart Waite and Gary Birchall struck in the last twenty minutes to take the points.

Goals by Joe Hewitt, Luke Sherman and Paul Smith moved Liversedge up to sixth thanks to a 3-0 home victory over Pickering Town and Long Eaton United are now seventh after they were beaten by a single goal at home to Hallam, Rob Cam with the vital strike on 63.

The highest scoring game of the day came at Nostell Miners Welfare who won 7-3 against Thackley who were dumped to the bottom of the table following the defeat.

Yet, Thackley had taken the lead after just seven minutes by James Firth but Welfare turned the game on its head and were four goals clear by the break.

Ben Gilbert picked up a first-half hat-trick whilst Danny Highley and Paul Bedford added to the visitors' misery.

Oli Johnson and Michael Long made it 7-1 in the second period before Delroy White and Joel Etienne pulled two goals back in the last ten minutes.

Arnold Town are next-to-bottom after a 1-0 loss at Glasshoughton Welfare whilst Brodsworth Welfare picked up their first points of the season with a 2-0 win at home to Maltby Main.

Gedling Town lead the way in Division One on goal difference after a 3-0 home win over Tadcaster Albion.

Also on six points are Hall Road Rangers, Barton Town Old Boys and Teversal.

Rangers were 4-2 winners at home to next-to-bottom Borrowash Victoria thanks to a brace each from Jamie Barnwell and Paul Palmer whilst Tommy Leighton and John Guy found the net for the Vics.

Barton Town made it ten goals in three matches as they beat Scarborough Athletic 6-2 at Queensgate.

They were 4-1 up by the break with two goals for Gareth Barlow and one each for Craig Burdick and Gary Dickinson whilst a Scott Phillips penalty had given Athletic some joy.

Craig Hogg added a second for Scarborough on 61 minutes before two late goals from Gareth Barlow, who completed his hat-trick, and Tom Lee secured the points for Barton.

And, a Danny Tighe penalty plus a Richie Walker strike helped Teversal to a 2-1 win at Yorkshire Amateur.

AFC Emley dropped to fifth despite picking up a point in a 2-2 draw at Dinnington Town and they are alongside Staveley Miners Welfare on four points after Welfare won 3-1 at Rossington Main.

A young Staveley side were two-up by half-time thanks to Paul Clements and Ryan Damms before Damms added a third from the penalty spot just after the interval.

Brady Roberts picked up a late consolation for Rossington.

Rainworth Miners Welfare were 3-0 victors over visitors Worsbrough Bridge Athletic with goals coming from Lee Wilkinson, Malc Brown and Mark Shaw.

And, Bottesford Town managed to hold on to a 3-2 win at Pontefract Collieries after letting a three-goal lead almost slip.

Carl La Rocca, Simon Roach and Phil Jackman had made the game seemingly safe before two from Craig Elliott turned the tie into a nailbiter.
