'Mr. Brigg Town' Passes Away

The Northern Counties East Football League are sad to announce the death of the ex-chairman of former NCEL side Brigg Town, Harry Williams.
Known as 'Mr. Brigg Town', he was 86 years old.
He was well known around our League during the club's 22-year stay in the NCEL from its inception in 1982 until their promotion to the UniBond League three years ago.
His funeral will take place at the Woodlands Crematorium in Scunthorpe on Thursday at 11.30am.
The NCEL will be represented by vice-chairman Derek Waterfall.
