Myron Gibbons' hat-trick in the final quarter of the game saw Rossington Main come from behind to beat Pitching In Northern Premier League side Stocksbridge Park Steels in the Sheffield & Hallamshire Senior Cup in midweek.The Toolstation NCEL Division One hosts found themselves 2-0 down by the hour mark in the First Round tie but Tyla Bell sparked the comeback midway through the second period and then Gibbons struck three times, once from the penalty spot, to claim a 4-2 victory.
Handsworth also defeated higher ranked opposition as they prevailed 3-2 at Sheffield to join Rossington in the Second Round.
James Oliver and Kane Reece struck to put the Ambers 2-0 up and, although their hosts pulled one back, they kept their nerve to grab a third through Mitchell Dunne with Sheffield then doubling their tally on 88 minutes to make it a tight finish.

Hemsworth Miners Welfare 2-1, Charlie Smith and Joe Jagger sandwiching an equaliser from Jason Davis.
Meanwhile, there was also giantkilling joy for
Harrogate Railway Athletic as a Daniel Thirkell penalty secured them a 1-0 home win over Pontefract Collieries in the First Round of the West Riding County Cup.
Ten goals were shared between
Albion Sports and
Eccleshill United in an all-NCEL meeting in that competition with the Eagles leading 5-3 by the interval after a breathless first half.
Luke Aldrich had netted a hat-trick with Zackary Sangster and Andrew Cooper also getting on the scoresheet whilst Daniel Facey struck twice and Jaydan Sandhu pouncing for the hosting Lions.
That is how it stayed until the 83rd minute when Finn Donovan got Sports' fourth and, as the game veered towards stoppage time, Spencer Gordon dramatically made it 5-5 and, in the ensuing penalty shoot-out, it was the home side who went through 4-2 on spot kicks.
There was disappointment, meanwhile, for
Armthorpe Welfare who were beaten 4-1 at home by Liversedge, Jack Mawson with the hosts' goal.
Barton Town were knocked out of the Lincolnshire Senior Trophy at the First Round stage after a 1-1 home draw with Boston Town, Benjamin Hinchliffe with the opener for the Swans, and the visitors progressed 4-2 on penalties.
Grimsby Borough's home clash with Harrowby United was called off and will now be played at a later date.
There were two Division One games with
Swallownest moving out of the bottom two with a 2-0 win at
Rainworth Miners Welfare who replace them in nineteenth, Richard Williams and Nana Nyarko deciding the clash in the visitors' favour.
Parkgate raced into a 3-0 lead at
Shirebrook Town with Haydn Ward, Thomas Whiting and Brandon Bagley putting them seemingly in complete control by the nineteenth minute.
But, Shirebrook staged a remarkable comeback in the game's final quarter with Nathan Jessop, Joshua Devereux and Ryan Ordidge netting to claim a point that moves Shirebrook up to sixteenth whilst Parkgate stay tenth.
And, there were three friendlies with Reece Clegg's brace adding to goals from Marley Grant, Jonathan Froggatt and Zander Duhameau in a 5-1 win over visitors Sheffield Wednesday U23s by
Staveley Miners Welfare.
Danny Emerton and Jackson Jowett netted in
North Ferriby's 3-2 home loss to Hull City U23s and
Glasshoughton Welfare went down 4-1 to visitors Ossett United.
