Managerial Changes At Hallam

Hallam Football Club have announced that First Team Manager Guy Glover has stepped down after four seasons in charge.

He will be replaced by assistant manager Darren Bland, a
former Hallam player who was also with Glapwell and Ossett Albion in the NCEL and was also previously assistant manager at Maltby.

He will be assisted by the club's current Under 19s team manager, Billy Fox, who, in his first season with the club, has won the North Midlands Under 19s League title and also reached the league cup final.

A statement to the NCEL website adds: "The club would like to thank Guy Glover, who also spent 11 years with the club as a player, for his efforts over the last four seasons, particularly winning the NCE League cup in 2003/2004 and would like to wish him all the best for the future."

Two Posts Up For Grabs At Hallam

Premier Division side Hallam are on the search for a First Team Physio and Commercial Manager.

Anyone interested in taking over the Physio role are asked to contact the First Team Manager, Guy Glover, on 07970 555343.

Meanwhile, the Commercial Manager role is a new one created at the club and those wishing to apply are asked to send a CV to Peter Hogan, Hallam FC, Sandygate Road, Crosspool, Sheffield, S10 5SE.

Applicants for the second job, which is to be paid on a commission basis only, is the 1st of December.

Venue Change For Hallam FA Cup Tie

Hallam's tie in the Second Round of Qualifying for the FA Cup will be played at a different venue.

Their match at Durham City will now take place at Esh Winning's West Terrace ground.

This is because the synthetic pitch at the Northern League side's Archibalds Stadium cannot be used for FA Cup and Vase matches.

The match is still a 3pm kick-off on Saturday the 30th of September.

Sponsor Boost For Hallam

Hallam FC have announced a new matchball sponsorship deal for the new season.

Local sports kit supplier D.B.Sports Sheffield are to provide match balls for both the first team and the under-19 side.
