Change of Boss at Winterton
12th September, 2013
Following the shock resignation by Leigh Herrick, Winterton Rangers have moved quickly to recruit ex-Barton Town Old Boys chief executive Paul Friskney as their new boss.
After successfully steering Winterton away from relegation last season as caretaker manager along with Mark McDonagh, Herrick took the job full time this season but, after only eight games into the new season, he has had to leave the post due to personal reasons.
The club's management and board have thanked Herrick for all his time and effort that he has devoted to the West Street side whilst being there as a player and manager and have wished him all the best in the future.
The club have also announced that Jonny Robinson will remain at the club as assistant manager and coach to work alongside Friskney.

Allanson Joins Winterton Management Team
9th June, 2013
Former Bridlington Town boss Gary Allanson has joined Winterton Rangers' management team for their NCEL Premier Division side.
A statement from the club reads: "Gary, who is vastly experienced, today agreed to work alongside manager Leigh Herrick in developing our first team for the upcoming season.
"Gary led Bridlington Town to the league title in only his second year in charge and has been a coach at the Hull City School of Excellence since 2001. Previously, Gary was a professional at Doncaster Rovers and played for various teams at different levels of non league football.
"Gary is keen to work with and develop our first team which finished the season in such good form. With the addition of Gary and a number of other players we are all confident that the team will continue to progress.
"Manager Leigh Herrick spoke of his excitement of Gary joining the first team management team and the impact that he can make on the players.
"With the first pre-season game on the 6th July away at Beverley Town and the upcoming visits to West Street by Hull City, Scunthorpe United, Grimsby Town and Lincoln United, everyone at the club can't wait for the games to start.
"We wish both Gary and Leigh every success in the upcoming season."
