Cleethorpes Town have further enhanced their involvement in the community as they have chosen the Laura McPhee Memorial Fund as their charity partner for 2014.The club has been at the forefront of community involvement for a number of years and this link up will see all sections of the club, from its Toolstation NCEL Division One team to the club's under 7s, taking part in activities and events during the year to raise money for the worthwhile cause.
The Laura McPhee Memorial Fund is a children's asthma charity set up in memory of Laura who sadly died in December 2010 from an asthma attack when it took an ambulance forty minutes as it struggled to reach her through ten inches of snow.
The money is raised to buy vital breathing units for asthmatic babies and children. More details can be found on their website,

The club have a number of events planned already including a sponsored event and fun day at the Linden Homes Club on Good Friday, and a special football match on FA Cup Final day where the charity will be present to raise money through various activities.
Cleethorpes Town chairman David Patterson said: "Having worked with the charity before, it was an obvious choice and we are delighted that we can work together as a club with such a worthwhile cause.
"The club secretary has put this in place to further enhance the club's pioneering community work."
Cleethorpes Town will help ensure a "beautiful princess will never be forgotten" as the charity's motto states.
