England Trial Joy for Rangers Trio
11th November, 2013
Hall Road Rangers are delighted that three of their under 18s and first team squad members have been selected to attend the next stage of the England Schoolboy Trials at Lilleshall.
"We are so proud that three of our young players have made it through to the last 64 lads to be invited to such prestigious trials," said club spokesman Lee Myers. "We pride ourselves on our young players and they are doing us and the club proud by getting so far on against such tough competition from all over the country."
The players - Benn Lewis, Jordan Cox and Corey Mortimer - have all been selected to attend.
"To have one player from the club selected would have been good but three just shows how when you put your faith in youth it can pay off," continued Myers. "We wish all three well for the future and look forward to the playing for their country sometime in the future."
The next round of trials will be held over the last weekend in November with the final trials being held in January 2014.
