Brighouse Town continue to be favourites for the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division crown after winning their fifth game in a row on Saturday.
They stay ahead of Tadcaster Albion by a point with two matches in hand after a 4-0 victory at Long Eaton United with Tyrone Gay and Tom Matthews firing them into a quickfire two-goal lead before Matthews added his second in first half stoppage time and Luke Gibson completed the scoring on 78 minutes.
Tadcaster won 4-2 at Staveley Miners Welfare, Stuart Rice putting them in the lead before Matthew Hassett levelled for the hosts, Danny Critchlow regained the advantage for the Brewers, Josh Scully made it 2-2 and Matthew Sparks put Tadcaster ahead again, all in a breathless first half.
Callum Ward added the visitors' fourth in the 51st minute to make sure of the victory.
Third-placed Barton Town Old Boys' title challenge took a knock as, despite taking an early lead through Scott Phillips, they were beaten 3-2 at home by Albion Sports, Elliott Holmes grabbing the winner in injury time to leave the Swans five points off the top with three games left to play.
A Ryan Whitehurst brace helped Basford United to a 3-2 victory at Glasshoughton Welfare to move them up into fourth ahead of Worksop Parramore who lost 2-0 at home to Garforth Town, Josh Greenhalgh and Sam Akeroyd netting for the Miners.
Pickering Town complete the top six, replacing Heanor Town who they beat 3-0 at Mill Lane, Tony Hackworth's first-half penalty added to after the interval with strikes from Robert Hawkes and Lewis Taylor.
Lincoln Moorlands Railway will now finish bottom of the table after their 4-2 home defeat to Bridlington Town, the hosts going two up before the match turned around in the last ten minutes with two each for Jamie Reeson and Craig Hogg.
Winterton Rangers missed out on a chance of climbing out of the relegation zone as they lost 4-0 at Retford United and so remain two points away from safety.
There was a 2-1 win for Thackley at local rivals Liversedge and the spoils were shared at Green Lane where Parkgate and Armthorpe Welfare drew 2-2.

Shirebrook Town stay in fourth spot after a 9-2 victory at basement side Appleby Frodingham with Aaron Moxam's hat-trick and doubles for Thomas Mullen and Matthew Thompson helping them to a comfortable win after they had gone behind in the opening two minutes.
Chris Kamara's first-half brace saw Pontefract Collieries to a 4-2 win at Grimsby Borough to move up into fifth spot, ahead of Eccleshill United on goal difference.
The Eagles climbed into sixth after Connor Shefte struck twice in their 2-1 home victory over Rossington Main.

And, there were three draws as Dinnington Town were held 2-2 by visitors Worsbrough Bridge Athletic, Louth Town picked up a point with a 1-1 scoreline at Dronfield Town and it was 3-3 between Yorkshire Amateur and Hall Road Rangers.
