Thackley returned to the top of the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division after coming from behind to beat Liversedge 2-1 on Saturday.
The visitors took the lead on nine minutes through Billy Grogan before Chris Davey quickly equalised and Matthew Morgan got what proved to be the winner from the penalty spot towards the end of the opening period.
The Dennyboys go above Tadcaster Albion who were held 1-1 at home by Staveley Miners Welfare having seen Carl Stewart's 50th minute opener for them cancelled out late on by Pat Lindley's strike.
Fifth-placed Bridlington Town were the day's biggest winners as they thumped next-to-bottom Lincoln Moorlands Railway, 10-0, with Joel Sutton netting four times whilst there were braces for Craig Hogg and James Bennett and further goals for Craig Palmer and Tom Fleming.
Basement side Nostell Miners Welfare could not close the gap on Moorlands, however, as they went down 3-1 at Maltby Main with two goals for Rob Branagan claiming the win for the hosts in the second period.
The league's top scorer, Kieran Debrouwer, netted another hat-trick to take his tally to 24 in all competitions as Heanor Town won 5-2 at home to Pickering Town and they move up to eighth behind Maltby.
Scott Preece struck twice in Parkgate's 3-2 victory at Armthorpe Welfare as did Tom Matthews for Brighouse Town as they beat Long Eaton United, 3-1, at the Dual Seal Stadium to keep them in fourth spot.
Hillario Serrao scored the only goal of the game in Glasshoughton Welfare's win at Basford United and it was honours even, 1-1, between Garforth Town and Worksop Parramore.
Cleethorpes Town have climbed into second spot in Division One, behind Shaw Lane Aquaforce on goal difference, after beating the leaders, 3-2.
Johnathan Oglesby broke the deadlock for the hosts but Aquaforce equalised from the spot through Danny Frost on nineteen minutes.
A second half brace from Marc Cooper gave Cleethorpes the points despite late resistance from Danny Barlow who brought the visitors back into the game with two minutes remaining.
Cleethorpes go above Bottesford Town who went down 2-0 at home to an ever-improving Selby Town, courtesy of goals from Tom Owen and Daniel Gray.
A 4-0 win at Hemsworth Miners Welfare propelled Eccleshill United into the top five, with Marcus Edwards getting two of the goals followed by Pontefract Collieries who beat visitors Teversal, 2-0, with strikes from Rob Oldham and Liam Radford.
None of the bottom four managed to pick up a point with Louth Town still propping up the rest after a 5-0 home defeat to local rivals Grimsby Borough, Kyle Bensley getting a hat-trick for the visitors.
Appleby Frodingham had a miserable afternoon, losing 9-1 at Knaresborough Town as Josh Garbutt scored three and there was a double from Danny Wright amongst the goals.
Hallam went down 3-2 at home to Yorkshire Amateur and Dinnington Town were beaten 1-0 by visitors Dronfield Town to complete defeats for all the struggling sides.
Ben Kinsley's hat-trick in the opening fourteen minutes helped Hall Road Rangers on their way to a 6-1 home win over Rossington Main.
And, in the local derby at Langwith Road, Kevin Gee's first match as Shirebrook Town boss ended in stalemate as they drew 1-1 with visitors Clipstone, Carl Haslam's goal for the away side cancelled out on the half-hour by Aaron Moxam.
