Duo join Ollerton Town's management team
23rd May, 2017
Ollerton Town have announced their new-look management team structure ahead of the upcoming 2017/2018 season.
Long-serving manager Dave Winter and his assistant Stephen Bodle continue in their roles as they near their sixth season in the jobs.
Both steadied the ship at Ollerton when they first joined the club and since then oversaw their promotion to the NCEL where they finished seventeenth in their first campaign last season.
For the last two years, the duo were joined by former Ollerton captain Jamie Allan who has since departed to take up the assistant manager's job at Shirebrook Town.
A club spokesperson said: "When looking for a replacement, Dave and Stephen were looking for a person, or people, who would bring the same qualities to the changing room and they believe tonight's appointments will do just that."
Jordan Wildey joins from fellow-NCEL side Rossington Main where he had been part of the management team since injury stopped him playing for the club as a goalkeeper.
And, former Ollerton captain and fans favourite Terry Annable has returned to help behind the scenes, looking to improve the side not only defensively but also in terms of organisation.
Winter had this to say following the appointments: "It's great to have Terry and Jordan on board.
"I'm happy with how the interview process went and I believe that we have got ourselves a wonderful mixture of coaching ability.
"To have someone who is as qualified and full of ideas as Jordan is a great coup for the club and to be able to bring Terry in with his no-nonsense approach is also a big plus, especially as he knows what Ollerton is all about.
"We want to be a successful club so it's important we have successful people on board - Jordan's coaching education at such a young age points to that and Terry's playing career certainly does.
"Myself, Bodle, Jordan and Terry can't wait to get going now. Our pre-season plan is complete and we look forward to it starting on 17th June."
