Parkinson steps down at Moorlands

Lincoln Moorlands Railway have announced that Damon Parkinson has resigned as first team manager.
The Newark Road side are currently nineteenth in the Toolstation NCEL Division One table and have not won in seventeen league games.
Chairman Colin Edwards said: "The club would like to thank Damon for his dedication and effort whilst at Newark Road and hope all goes well with his family."
Alex Cross, who was first team coach, has been asked to be manager, a role that he has accepted and he is looking forward to the challenge of moving the team forward.
