Rainworth Miners Welfare battled hard in the Notts Senior Cup in midweek at home to Evo-Stik League side Basford United but were unable to book their place in this season's final.They went down 2-0 with Ben Hutchinson converting two spot kicks for the visitors at Kirklington Road in the only game to survive the wet weather on Tuesday.
Teversal have a chance to face Basford for the trophy should they beat Carlton Town in the second semi-final next week.
