Cleethorpes Town are now two points clear at the top of the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division table after Saturday's matches which once again provided plenty of goals.

The Owls won 6-1 at home to Armthorpe Welfare with Peter Winn, Luke Mascall, Alexander Flett and Mark Cooper putting them fully in control by the hour mark before a Marcin Wolski consolation for Armthorpe on 85 led to two further goals from Brody Robertson for the hosts.

Second placed Thackley were denied victory by an injury-time penalty from Connor Brunt as they drew 1-1 at home to Worksop Town after Christopher Wademan had given them the lead on 65 minutes.

Bridlington Town's winning streak continues as they stayed in third and eight points off the summit after a 3-0 home victory over Garforth Town, their twelfth straight success coming courtesy of Brett Agnew, Nicky McNamara and Tom Fleming.

Ryan Blott and Nathan Kamara netted for Pickering Town whose 2-1 defeat of visitors AFC Mansfield sees them climb into fourth spot, Oliver Fearon getting one back for the Bulls after 70 minutes.

And, Handsworth Parramore are up into fifth after two each from Jon Froggatt and Aaron Moxam helped to secure a 5-1 victory at home to Maltby Main.

Parkgate moved off the bottom of the table for the first time since the start of October as they won 7-0 at home to Barton Town Old Boys with the visitors replacing them in the basement.

Alex Lill got three for the Steelmen after Joshua Moore had given them a second minute lead and then goals from Kieran Hirst, Jassim Alali and Nicky Harper in the final quarter-of-an-hour completed the rout.

There were away wins for Athersley Recreation, Kieran Scargill's injury time strike grabbing a 2-1 victory at Bottesford Town, and for Staveley Miners Welfare where there was a double from Adam Lee in their 3-0 triumph at near neighbours Clipstone.

There were two goals from Joe Walton as Liversedge enjoyed a 5-1 win at Retford United to stay in seventh spot, five points ahead of eighth placed Hemsworth Miners Welfare who beat visitors Rainworth Miners Welfare, 5-3.

Division One leaders Penistone Church won 5-3 at Winterton Rangers to stretch their advantage at the top of the table to four points.

Dale Kelly netted twice whilst there was also goals for Luke Johnson, Brett Lovell and Ashley Ellis as they reached the fifty point barrier.

Pontefract Collieries move up into second and AFC Emley are now third after Grimsby Borough dropped to fourth with a 2-1 loss at Selby Town, Jason Crisp's brace sandwiching their goal from Daniel Trott.

The Colls won 1-0 at Shirebrook Town, Michael Dunne with the vital strike three minutes from time, whilst Ashley Flynn and Jordan Coduri netted for Emley in a 2-0 win at Hallam who stay fifth.

Hall Road Rangers and Knaresborough Town were both beaten so remain sixth and seventh, respectively, Rangers going down to an injury time own goal in a 1-0 loss at Yorkshire Amateur and a Blake Owen hat-trick condemned Knaresborough to a 3-1 home defeat to Dronfield Town.

There was also a hat-trick for Mark Bett as Campion beat visitors Rossington Main, 5-3, to strengthen his side's grip on eighth spot.

And, there were plenty of goals at the Easy Buy Ground as well as Daniel Walker scored four of Westella & Willerby's in a dramatic 5-4 victory at home to Eccleshill United, Zak Oakshott getting their winner with three minutes to go.

Westella are now out of the relegation zone and Teversal picked up three vital points in their battle to move further away from the bottom two as they won 4-3 at Glasshoughton Welfare, Brett Watson, David Cockerill, Craig Mitchell and Luke Weaver getting on the scoresheet before the home side almost completed a remarkable late comeback.

Braces for Sam Dockwray and Joshua Bowkett helped Ollerton Town to a 5-0 home win over basement side Nostell Miners Welfare and a David Dean goal early in the second period saw Brigg Town win 1-0 at Worsbrough Bridge Athletic.
