In response to a number of enquiries regarding concerns of a possible fixtures backlog due to weeks of bad weather, the Toolstation NCEL would like to make the following assurances to its member clubs.

Despite an unprecedented number of postponements, the Premier Division is still on course to finish as planned.

The Division One schedule is causing more problems, however, due to the extra six league games that each team has to play and the situation is close to but not yet critical.

Bearing that in mind, the league's General Manager Matt Jones has been in contact with the FA regarding a possible extension to the season if necessary and is awaiting their response.

We will keep monitoring the situation on a day-to-day basis and appropriate action will be taken should the bad weather continue.

In the meantime, we thank all of our member clubs for their patience and understanding in what has been a trying season for everyone.
