Teversal Have New Management Team

9th June, 2010

Teversal have put a new management team in place following the resignation of Dave Brocklehurst and Robbie Atkins.

Darren Kelk will lead the first team with Barry Alberry and Jamie Hudson working alongside him to maintain the improvements that were shown in the second half of last season.

Alberry returns to Teversal after being part of the their promotion side four years ago and helping Rainworth Miners Welfare's surge into the Evo-Stik League this past season.

Hudson has worked through the ranks at Teversal as a player and Manager and this is seen as a natural progression for him with his experience and knowledge of the club and the game being key factors.

Pre-season training has already started as the players have been given a programme to work to that will see them return ready for an intensive programme working towards the season start on 7th August.

Waddle Praise for Tevie Boys

22nd January, 2010

A former England international is helping KoolSport NCEL Division One side Teversal to turn their season around.

With Chris Waddle in the wings to support the Tevie Gaffers of Dave Brocklehurst, Robbie Adkin and Darren Kelk, people within the club have appreciated the improvements that have seen the club climb to seventh in the form guide since the current management team took the reins.

The experience of Waddle is something that the club is pleased to have on their side with the England, Newcastle, Sheffield Wednesday and Tottenham star bringing his wealth of knowledge and charisma to Carnarvon Street when his media commitments allow and played a part that has seen three wins, one draw and two losses in the last six league games.

Chris stated: "It's a pleasure to be involved with a club like Teversal who show what a group of volunteers can achieve for local football, plus it's a great opportunity that Dave (Brocklehurst) can cut his managerial teeth alongside the experience of Robbie Adkin, Darren Kelk.

"And, with the great support the Committee offers here, it allows them to concentrate on the players, which is not always the case at this level."

The Tevie Boys also hope to continue in making progress on and off the pitch and are on the look out for a Commercial Manager to help give them help to finance an ambitious five year development plan that will see improvements to the clubhouse, training facilities and the training room complex that will help to service the whole club from Youth to Seniors, catering for no fewer than twelve teams.

Anyone interested in the Commercial Manager's post or wanting to join the club as a volunteer, can contact Chairman John Boden by telephone 07990 850566 or by email John.Boden@Teversalfc.co.uk.

Or, Football Secretary Kev Newton on 07711 358060 or email Kevin.Newton@Teversalfc.co.uk.
