Morris moves from Briggers to Frickley

Lee Morris has stepped down as manager of Worsbrough Bridge Athletic and has become the new boss of Macron NCEL Premier Division rivals Frickley Athletic.
The news comes almost three years to the day that he took over at the Briggers from Luke Forgione.
In that time, Morris led his side to promotion to the Premier Division for the first time and he also took them to the Final of the Sheffield & Hallamshire Senior Cup last season.
He leaves the club in a very healthy position in fourth place in the league table.
A statement released on Wednesday morning by Worsbrough said: "We are naturally disappointed and did all we could to try and keep him at the club."
And, they added: "We part with memories that will last a lifetime and give massive thanks for his hard work in his time at the club."
It was then revealed that Morris had joined Frickley who are looking to turn around their fortunes as they currently sit next-to-bottom in the Premier Division table.
Their chairman Phil Cooper said about the appointment: “Lee’s a manager we’ve targeted on a number of occasions but his commitment and drive to succeed at Worsbrough has meant we’ve had to wait until the time was right.
"We’re delighted to have him as our first team manager and excited to see where he can take the club.
"We’d like to place on record our thanks for [chairman] Mark [Booth] at Worsbrough for his cooperation during the discussions."
Morris will be followed to Westfield Lane by Rhys Meynell who had been his assistant at Worsbrough.
Meanwhile, Luke Smith has agreed to take over at Worsbrough for an interim period to ensure there is stability there ahead of Friday night's home league clash with Campion.
The club said: "We also want to thank the playing squad for pulling together in what is a difficult time for them.
"The response from the group since the announcement is credit to them as we now look to the future."
