Barton Town have confirmed that Saturday's home game with Eccleshill United will go ahead, the first to take place following the tragic news of the passing of goalkeeper James Hitchcock last week.Both the Hitchcock family and everybody at the NCEL Premier Division club want the match to take place in memory of James.
And, admission to the game will be free so as many people can go along and pay their respects.
In accordance with the family's wishes, the club will be taking donations for their chosen charity.
One Punch Hull & East Yorkshire raises awareness on the risks of one-punch attacks and highlights the impact that split-second needless actions can have with devastating affects on families, changing lives forever.
