Charity mud run for Miners players
13th May, 2016
Members of the Maltby Main squad will be taking part in a brutal mud run later this month to raise money for charity.
On Saturday 21st May, they will be completing Tough Mudder to raise funds for Bluebell Wood, a charity that looks after children with a short life expectancy.
Manager Spencer Fearn said: "Although most of the lads are fit, a lot of training is taking place to ensure they come through twelve miles of obstacles, being electrocuted, making their way through mud slides, jumping in vats of ice water and from great heights.
"As for me, as their manager and ten years older than our most senior player, this presents an even bigger challenge to keep up with them!"
