Amber Parras Driven to Success
12th August, 2014
Handsworth Parramore have announced that Windsor Foodservice have become their transport sponsors for the coming season and beyond in a ground-breaking deal.
Part of the deal includes a brand new team bus and the sponsors' chief and Ambers chairman Pete Whitehead said: "I'm delighted to further support our club and hope that people give us a beep as they see the Ambers bus driving around the city and en route to our games!!"
Windsor Foodservice was established in 1989 by current Chief Executive Peter Whitehead and, with 'humble' beginnings from rented premises in Sheffield, Windsor Foodservice has continually grown faster than the foodservice market to become one of the UK's leading independent foodservice operators.
Having outgrown facilities at Birdwell near Barnsley, the business now operates out of a purpose-built head office and distribution facility in the Dearne Valley with a second distribution depot at Castle Donington in the East Midlands. Employing over 70 staff, the business serves in excess of 3,000 catering customers with over 2,500 quality products.
