Louth Town are deeply saddened to learn of the passing away of junior player Jordan Eyre.
Fourteen-year-old Jordan was injured in an accident on Friday and was sadly unable to recover, passing away in Hull Royal Infirmary on Monday morning.
Since joining the club, Jordan has been coached by Lee Freeman who said: "I had the privilege of coaching Jordan for the last 6 seasons and his big heart and sheer determination to do well endeared him to us all."
Everyone connected with Louth Town FC would like to send our condolences to Jordan's family and friends at this sad time. He will be greatly missed around Park Avenue and around the town of Louth.
As a mark of respect for Jordan, all of Louth Town's junior matches have been postponed this weekend.
