Hastings steps down as Rangers boss
3rd December, 2014
Hall Road Rangers will travel to Lincoln Moorlands Railway in Toolstation NCEL Division One on Saturday without manager Lee Hastings.
Hastings, who stepped up from assistant boss to run the club's first team at the beginning of the season, has now departed by mutual consent.
A statement released by chairman Darren Sunley this morning said: "Following on from developments within the club and future plans, we have agreed the mutual departure of Lee Hastings as first team manager.
"I would personally like to thank Lee for his efforts and wish him all the best.
"It's a transitional period for Hall Road Rangers and I am very positive about the future of the club."
Lee Hastings was quoted as saying: "We have mutually agreed to part company ... I wish Hall Road Rangers all the very best for the future."
Rangers sit in sixteenth position in the table and have so far this season won six, drawn three and lost twelve.
Coach Jason Cox will take charge of the first team for this weekend with the announcement of a new manager expected very shortly.
