Watts Returns to Shirebrook
14th September, 2014
Julian Watts has returned as manager of Toolstation NCEL Division One side Shirebrook Town, eleven months after he left the club.
The Langwith Road outfit announced his comeback following the resignation of Mark Camm at the end of last month with Danny Bacon being the caretaker boss for the last couple of weeks.
A club statement said: "Shirebrook Town FC have rightly taken their time and would now like to announce Julian Watts as first team manager with immediate effect.
"Julian starts his second term at the club and all parties are excited at the journey ahead and are in a position to drive forward and work hard together to bring success to the club.
"Julian brings a vast experience of football knowledge having played countless football league games and also managed extensively in the area."
Watts' first spell as Shirebrook boss began in May last year after he had stepped down at Division One rivals Hallam but he and the club parted company in October.
