Handsworth Parramore kept their grip on top spot in the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division as Sam Smith's brace helped them to a 2-1 home win over Barton Town Old Boys on Saturday.
He got his fifth and sixth goals of the season, sandwiching Gareth Barlow's 72nd minute strike for the visitors who are waiting for their first point of the season.
Heanor Town are up into second after making three wins out of three, Gary Ricketts and Courey Grantham netting for the Lions in their 2-0 victory at Garforth Town.
Comfortable home wins for Shaw Lane Aquaforce and Tadcaster Albion saw them climb up into fourth and fifth place, respectively.
Shane Kelsey and Joe Thornton scored two each for Aquaforce as they dispatched Pickering Town, 6-0, and there was also a brace for Josh Barrett in Tadcaster's 5-1 defeat of Glasshoughton Welfare.
There were 3-1 wins at home for Maltby Main and Staveley Miners Welfare, Liam Royles and Anthony Mackie with a quickfire double on the hour mark as Maltby beat Thackley whilst two late strikes from Matthew Thorpe saw Staveley triumph over Nostell Miners Welfare who have lost their opening four matches.
And, there was joy on the road for Retford United, Bridlington Town and Parkgate.
Leigh Hutchinson netted twice and Ben Muirhead got the third in Retford's 3-0 victory at Armthorpe Welfare, Eddy Birch snatched an injury-time winner as Bridlington won 2-1 at Athersley Recreation and Daniel Abdulla struck on 82 minutes to secure Parkgate's victory by the same scoreline at Liversedge.
In Division One, Louth Town, Lincoln Moorlands Railway and Clipstone lead the way having won three out of three.
Louth head the table on goal difference after their 4-1 win at home to Hall Road Rangers, Jamie Coulson with two of their goals, whilst Moorlands showed their intent to bounce straight back into the Premier Division with a 6-2 defeat of visitors Teversal.
Simon Mowbray netted twice in the opening half to see them on their way after Teversal had taken an early lead through Oliver Wood.
Matty Ord's double ensured Clipstone beat AFC Emley at the Worksop Van Hire Stadium whilst the day's biggest victory came courtesy of Bottesford Town.
A hat-trick from Martin Pembleton helped them to an 8-0 home win over Grimsby Borough who are now bottom of the table.
The only side to win on their travels in Division One were Hemsworth Miners Welfare who beat Yorkshire Amateur, 4-3, but Winterton Rangers, Dronfield Town and Shirebrook Town all came home with a point.
Winterton drew 1-1 at Eccleshill United, Dronfield were denied a point at Knaresborough Town thanks to a late equaliser from Graham Whitehead and Reece Littlejohn scored in stoppage time for Shirebrook in their 1-1 draw at Rossington Main.
AFC Mansfield were 3-1 home winners over Hallam whilst Pontefract Collieries prevailed by the same scoreline against visitors Selby Town and Penistone Church beat Worsbrough Bridge Athletic by a single goal at Church View Road.
