AGM News and League Cup Draw

The Toolstation Northern Counties East League Annual General Meeting took place on Saturday afternoon at the Royal Hotel in Scarborough.

Four clubs - AFC Mansfield, Penistone Church, Wakefield and Worksop Town - were officially welcomed into the league whilst we said goodbye to Brighouse Town who have moved up to the Northern Premier League, Basford United and Long Eaton United who have gone to the new Midland Football League, Appleby Frodingham who were relegated into the Central Midlands League, and Dinnington Town who have sadly disbanded.

The proposed constitution for the 2014/15 season was rubber-stamped, meaning the league's two divisions will line up as follows for the upcoming campaign:

Meanwhile, the draw for the first two rounds of the League Cup took place with dates to be scheduled in due course.
