Tickets Running Out for Sportsman's Dinner

KoolSport NCEL Premier Division club Liversedge are warning that tickets are selling fast for their Annual Sportsman's Dinner later this month.Former Newcastle United full-back John Beresford is the guest speaker at the event which takes place at the Cedar Court Hotel in Bradford on Friday 25th March.
Comedian Rudy West is also on the bill for what should be a fantastic night.

Point Deduction for Liversedge

Liversedge have been deducted a point after fielding an ineligible player in a KoolSport NCEL Premier Division match.
The point they picked up in a 1-1 draw at Lincoln Moorlands Railway on November 13th has been chalked off after a player who was not registered in time took part in the match.
They were also found to have fielded another player who was not registered in time for their 1-0 defeat at home to Long Eaton United seven days later.
As well as the point deduction, Sedge were fined ?100 for each infringement.
Miller Returns to Sedge

Liversedge have announced that Billy Miller has been appointed as first team manager.
Following the resignation of Stuart Waddington, the KoolSport NCEL Premier Division side have been working hard to find a new manager.
Over a dozen highly qualified applicants were considered by the committee and interviews were held last week with a final decision being made by Chairman Steve Newton and the interview committee.
Billy returns to the club after being assistant manager to Sean Regan who left at the end of last season.
The club would like to thank all those who applied for the job.
Liversedge are now looking forward to Billy and his new assistant Cory Larkin taking control of team affairs and helping the club improve its results to climb the league table to Premier Division safety.

Sedge Manager Steps Down

KoolSport NCEL Premier Division basement side Liversedge have today parted company with their manager.
Stuart Waddington handed in his resignation and it was mutually agreed that he would step down with immediate effect.
A statement from the club reads: "Liversedge would like to thank Stuart for his hard work on taking the position only a week prior to the start of the season.
"Although he had assembled a good squad, the results were not favourable and Sedge remain bottom of the Premier League."

Sedge Have New Management Team

Liversedge have announced their new management duo following the departure of Sean Regan and Billy Miller.
Former Glasshoughton pair Stuart Waddington and Adam Hughes are now in charge at the Clayborn Ground with their first match being tonight's friendly at home to Bradford Park Avenue.
Regan has left to take a role at Scunthorpe United's Academy whilst Miller is to devote his full attention to his job at the Academy at Darlington - both have left with the best wishes of the Sedge committee.

Management Duo Leave Sedge

The Bradford Telegraph & Argus is reporting that Liversedge's management duo have left the club.Sean Regan and Billy Miller's last game in charge was yesterday's centenary celebration match where they were beaten 2-1 by a Legends XI at the Clayborn Ground.
The report says that Regan has been offered a full-time role at Scunthorpe United's Academy whilst Miller, who coaches at Darlington's Academy, has decided to go at the same time.

Sedge Face All-Stars Team

Liversedge kick start their centenary year with a game against an all-star cast at Clayborn on Sunday 25th July.The legends will play against the current squad from last season's campaign.
Brian Deane, (Leeds United), Peter Beagrie, (Bradford City), Andy Booth (Huddersfield Town) and Neil Maddison (Middlesbrough) are amongst an all-star cast currently being lined up to roll back the years.
The day will consist of a number of events including a BBQ, Bouncy Castles for the kids and of course, Liversedge FC legendary hospitality from its staff behind the scenes.
It is hoped that as many supporters as possible, both new and old, will attend the day, as well as supporters from around the KoolSport Northern Counties East League.
Also up for grabs is YOUR opportunity to play alongside some of the great names in football.
Two places in the team, one for the first half and one for the second, are currently being auctioned to the highest bidder and bids can be placed by phoning First Team Coach, Billy Miller, on 07792 356092.
