Keighley Town are holding a special event next month to launch their new identity following a change of name from Eccleshill United.

It takes place on Friday 17th July, 2026, and is a Dinner, including a three-course meal and guest speaker Dean Saunders, starting at 7pm at their Cougar Park ground.

Saunders was a prominent striker during the 1980s and 1990s with a number of teams including Liverpool, Aston Villa and Derby County before becoming a manager, including taking charge of the Welsh national team.

It should be an excellent night as the club gets ready for its first Macron NCEL Premier Division season under its new name.
