Costello leaves Garforth for FA role

Toolstation NCEL Premier Division side Garforth Town have announced that manager Adrian Costello has left the club to take up a post in the FA's women's football department.
He has stepped down with immediate effect as his new role means he is unable to commit to the club for next season in the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division.
The Miners have moved quickly with assistant Rob Hunter agreeing to step up to replace him and they say that preparations for next season are underway.
Garforth have also thanked Costello for his hard work at the club and have wished him all the best for the future.

Costello unveils management team

Garforth Town's new boss Adie Costello has revealed appointments to his managerial and coaching staff.
Costello, who took over at the JS White & Co Community Stadium last month, has brought in Rob Hunter in as his assistant and Mark Ford as coach.
Hunter, who had spells as a player with Lincoln City and Bradford City before a long non-league career at Harrogate Town, Harrogate Railway, Knaresborough Town and Tadcaster Albion has a wealth of managerial experience at Toolstation NCEL level.
He helped Harrogate Railway to the Division One title in 1999 and had recently been assistant boss at Tadcaster, manager at Glasshoughton Welfare and lately was head coach at Knaresborough.
Ford also brings a lot of experience to his role having played for Leeds United, Burnley, Torquay United and Darlington.

Garforth seeking managerial applicants

Garforth Town are inviting applications for the role of manager of their Toolstation NCEL Premier Division side following the resignation of Graham Nicholas who has moved on to fill the vacant role at Ossett Town.
A statement from the club's directors said: "We would like to take this opportunity to thank Graham for his work over the last two-and-a-half years and wish him well for the future.
"Graham will take charge of his last game at home to Hebburn Town in the FA Vase on Saturday.
"Applications for the vacant first team manager's role are invited to be sent to the club via email to secretary@garforthtown.net."

Garforth announce youth partnership

Garforth Town have announced that a partnership has been agreed with York City FC West Yorkshire Development Centre.
This will see the two organisations working together to develop young players who are looking to further their footballing careers.
A pathway will be available to help to structure the progress of talented footballers through to higher standards of the game.
Nick Fletcher, lead coach of the York City FC WYDC, said: "I am delighted at the announcement of our partnership with Garforth Town which I am sure will prove to be of great benefit to both parties over the coming years."
Brian Close, chairman of Garforth Town, added: "This is a very exciting time at Garforth Town and shows further intent by us to secure a strong future for all associated with the club.
"This link will be invaluable to help grow the football side of the business. We are working towards improving all aspects of the structure here both on and off the field."
The J.S. White & Co. Community Stadium will welcome for the first time the York City FC WYDC team to play the Miners' first team in a training game this evening (7.30pm kick-off).
All supporters are welcome to attend. The bar and refreshment kiosk will be open.

New catering partnership at Garforth

Garforth Town have announced a new partnership that will see Manchester based 3XCA Ltd provide matchday and non-matchday bar and catering facilities at the J S White & Co Community Stadium under the trading name Garforth Catering.The partnership, effective from the start of the month, guarantees that a fixed amount of revenue spent over the club bar, catering kiosk and food trailers will go directly back into the club.
The deal sees 3XCA assume responsibility for the development of non-matchday venue hire and will create five new jobs.
"It's fantastic news for the club. We've been trying to do it ourselves and it's a headache we can do without," said club chairman Brian Close. "It's a win-win for us now. We just need to help deliver more people both matchday and non-matchday through our doors spending money."
Echoing the chairman, fellow director Craig Bannister commented: "Non-league football is often overlooked and taken for granted but we have to meet all the same commitments as that of a full-time pro club.
"This is the first of many deals I am looking into that will ensure the long term viability of this fantastic club whilst offering some real hope of development."

New name for Garforth stadium

Garforth Town have announced that their Wheatley Park Stadium ground has a new name as part of a sponsorship deal.
The Toolstation NCEL Premier Division side will now play at the J.S. White & Co Community Stadium as their longest running partnership with the accountancy firm continues.
A club statement said: "Our principal sponsors J.S. White & Co have showed tremendous support to Garforth Town over the last decade and, after another recent increase in sponsorship, we're pleased to announce that the stadium will now become the J.S. White & Co Community Stadium.
"They will also remain as our home and away shirt sponsors."
