Milligan leaves Tigers by mutual consent
14th May, 2018
Worksop Town say the search for a new manager "begins immediately" after Duncan Milligan left the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division club by mutual consent.
A statement from the Tigers, who finished the season in eighteenth position in the table, said: "As the end of the season came to a close and, with much thought and deliberation, the board of directors have made the decision that last season's results have required us to review the structure of the first team.
"We understand the constraints that Duncan was under as the football club tried to rebuild itself on and off the pitch.
"We would like to take this opportunity to thank Duncan, John [Buckley] and his team for all their hard work and endeavours and we wish them the best of luck in the future."
Worksop say they will be seeking "a swift appointment" as they get ready for the new campaign and are asking interested parties to get in touch with them by noon on Friday (18th May).
All applications, including a covering letter and CV, must be sent directly to club secretary Dave Crisp at firstname.lastname@example.org.
