Selby Town have praised both Tadcaster Albion and Worksop Town after the Robins hosted their big Toolstation NCEL Premier Division clash on Saturday.
392 people watched the game at the Fairfax Plant Hire Stadium which Tadcaster won 4-1 to move to within five points of the league leaders.
Selby Town secretary Tommy Arkley told the league website after the game: "We would like to thank Tadcaster Albion for using the Fairfax Plant Hire Stadium to stage their game with Worksop Town today.
"Both sets of fans were a credit to the NCEL and were very respectful to our facilities.
"Selby were quick to offer their facilities to help out Tadcaster given their flood affected facilities and, despite our own bad result at Division One leaders Hemsworth Miners Welfare, we had a great day."
And, the NCEL would also like to thank Selby Town for allowing the game to be staged at their ground, once again showing the excellent spirit that exists amongst the teams in our competition.
