Garforth Town have announced that a partnership has been agreed with York City FC West Yorkshire Development Centre.

A pathway will be available to help to structure the progress of talented footballers through to higher standards of the game.

Brian Close, chairman of Garforth Town, added: "This is a very exciting time at Garforth Town and shows further intent by us to secure a strong future for all associated with the club.
"This link will be invaluable to help grow the football side of the business. We are working towards improving all aspects of the structure here both on and off the field."
The J.S. White & Co. Community Stadium will welcome for the first time the York City FC WYDC team to play the Miners' first team in a training game this evening (7.30pm kick-off).
