Garforth Town have announced a new partnership that will see Manchester based 3XCA Ltd provide matchday and non-matchday bar and catering facilities at the J S White & Co Community Stadium under the trading name Garforth Catering. The partnership, effective from the start of the month, guarantees that a fixed amount of revenue spent over the club bar, catering kiosk and food trailers will go directly back into the club.
The deal sees 3XCA assume responsibility for the development of non-matchday venue hire and will create five new jobs.
"It's fantastic news for the club. We've been trying to do it ourselves and it's a headache we can do without," said club chairman Brian Close. "It's a win-win for us now. We just need to help deliver more people both matchday and non-matchday through our doors spending money."
Echoing the chairman, fellow director Craig Bannister commented: "Non-league football is often overlooked and taken for granted but we have to meet all the same commitments as that of a full-time pro club.
"This is the first of many deals I am looking into that will ensure the long term viability of this fantastic club whilst offering some real hope of development."
