The Northern Counties East Football League would like to thank Division One side Glasshoughton Welfare for donating kits to the Taking Football to Africa and Beyond Appeal.

Wing Commander Neil Hope MBE was delighted to be presented with the kits by Glasshoughton secretary Trish Slater and we hope that more clubs will come forward to help Neil and the fantastic charity.

Since 2006, more than 371,000 items have been donated to the appeal and distributed to schools and centres in over 63 countries across the world, including 104,000 football kits, toys, stationery and school uniforms - items that bring joy and hope to many.
