24th February, 2016
Grimsby Borough have announced that first team manager Paul Walden has parted company with the club by mutual consent.
The news came just hours after the side's 5-3 defeat at Yorkshire Amateur in Toolstation NCEL Division One where they are eighteenth in the table.
A statement said: "Since he joined the club, Paul has brought in many new faces and this has allowed the club to have a fighting chance to avoid relegation.
"The club would like to place on record a huge amount of thanks to Paul for his hard work and wish him well for the future.
"Moving forward, the club has appointed Daniel Barrett and Andy Liddle to oversee the club going forward.
"We wish them all the best for the future and look forward to working together."
